Sports Journalist
My name is Sam Lanier, and I am from Charleston, South Carolina. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University, studying Sports Journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. I aspire to make an impact in the world, whether that is through social media or writing.
I am proficient with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Canva. I also have skilled knowledge when it comes to podcasting and editing. Most importantly, I am extremely proficient with Social Media, especially Instagram and TikTok.
ABOUT
Sports Journalism brings passion to my life because it allows me to be creative and tell stories about sports. I enjoy using that creativity for graphics, posts, or even podcasting. This has been important for me ever since I started attending Play-By-Play Sports Broadcasting Camp and wanted to work in Sports as a profession.
Whenever I am not working, I am hanging out with my friends, watching a sporting event, or watching a movie. I am also big into pop culture and music because I like to have a knowledge base for topics outside of sports as well.
